The McLaughlin MS/HS is a 6-12 school in McLaughlin, South Dakota. We are located approximately 30 miles west of Mobridge, SD and 70 miles south of Bismarck, ND. We have approximately 250 students enrolled and we offer a wide range of curriculum opportunities. We are a school that is built around leadership for staff and students and we promote the ideology that we are all lifelong learners. Outside of the core curriculum for students in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, we also offer Physical Education, Ed Tech (Computer), Art, Business, Spanish, Lakota Studies, TV/Web Broadcast and various vocational experiences through a rotation of Northwest Area School trailers. We offer opportunities for students with extra-curricular sports, student council, after school clubs and much more!

We are a small school, but we operate like a big school thanks to the support of our students, staff, and families!
